Framed Fridays!

Hope you enjoy this little walk around the neighbor hood in the wagon just as much as we did :)
This last picture isn't the greatest... but Ashley was screaming "Kack! Kack!" at the ducks in the pond :) I had to share the hilarity!

Happy Weekend!

Thing Thursday

My thing of the week is the Pediacare Gentle Vapors Plug In.  This is a wonderful tool for all moms when their little ones have colds.  It is so sad when your little ones have trouble breathing through their nose, are so tired they can hardly sit up, but can hardly sleep because they just can't relax! Here is a simple solution.  This plug in (don't forget the refills) is simple and effective.  No actual menthol, but instead the smell of eucalyptus fills your little's room and calms them, helps them breathe, and escorts them to sleepy town.  It's great, trust me.  Get plenty of refills and just stock up so that when that cold comes out of no where you're not running to Meijer at 10:30pm (I have... and yes they are that worth it!).

Hope you enjoyed this Thing Thursday! Let me know what you think.. have you used this before? What do you use when your little one's cold is keeping them up?

We're Walking!

My girls have decided... about a month and a half after their first steps... that they want to join the walking world! It has been a very fun couple of weeks! Ashley is pretty steady now.  Norah, as you can see in this video, is aggressively trying :)  Hope you enjoy this fun clip!

Meet Harriet

So we have this bird... not on purpose, like a pet, but she is becoming a part of our family. Who is this bird? Why let me introduce her! Her name is Harriet.  She is a blue bird who had decided that she would like to spend all waking hours of the past 4 days pecking/flying into our kitchen window.  Why? I don't know.  If any of you would like to let me know why I would be very appreciative!

Here's a clip of our friend Harriet

I have done a little research on why such behavior could be happening and this is what I have come up with:
1. She is seeing her reflection and defending herself against what she thinks is another "bird".
2. She is trying to tell me she needs help with her nest because something is wrong.

I have explored the first option and found it to be false.  She can clearly see me in the window as we stare into each other's eyes in bewilderment.  So I must think it is for the second reason.  Here is my problem.  I do not know where her nest is, or what possibly is endangering it. So we are left with Harriet tapping on our window.  How long will this continue? Who knows... but the girls find her interesting!

Get Organized!

So I found that having twins brings many things.... a large thing, is clothes! I decided today to organize.  I needed to refold, re-pile, and re-put all my girls old clothes into storage.  Well let me be honest... I haven't gotten it to storage yet, I think I'm going to continue this madness with all their 1st year clothes (which are in their bedroom closet storage where they are currently sleeping).  So, 6 months down! 6 to go!

O dear :)

To bring some more fun to this Monday :) Calvin and I love to start the week with going out to breakfast with the girls! It is so fun and the girls do great! Especially because I've learned that about half way through breakfast... the start of the whine and slightly too loud talking... I pull out Dora the Explorer, and we have a full completely enjoyable breakfast! I really heart technology sometimes :)
